The history of SoccApéro®

The birth of SoccApéro®

Launched in January 2019, SoccApéro® is the second innovation from Créations Luc Salsedo® after Socca Chips®. The teams spent two long years to come up with a quality, simple to use “all in one” product.

Olive oil, salt, pepper, these are the ingredients that make up this simple preparation for socca in a pan. Just add water and cook. For this project, the chef has chosen to work with a local establishment which provides care through employment for workers with disabilities (ESAT), a sign of his concern for human values.

How is Socca eaten?

This savoury niçois specialty can be enjoyed as it is, as an aperitif, or seasoned with pepper, rosemary, or garlic, for example.

SoccApéro® can also be part of a main meal. To do this, simply add cold cuts, raw vegetables, or cheese. With a salad, this makes a complete, home-made and balanced meal that will delight both young and old!

Our chef

Behind this crazy gourmet adventure lies the know-how of a chef, Luc Salsedo. A native of Nice, he has already lived several lives: 20 years in the kitchens of the greatest gastronomic restaurants of Alain Ducasse, Franck Cerrutti, Arnaud Poëtte, Jean-Marc Delacourt…
14 years at the head of his own restaurant and here he is now running a small business with the launch of Socca Chips® in 2015.
Since then, he continues his momentum with SoccApéro®, his second innovation, released in 2019 … And the adventure continues!
